Sheba Hope Reef

 To launch Sheba’s commitment to fish sustainability, we showcased their new system of rebuilding dead reefs with a one word mission statement that was visible from space. Winner of two Grand Prix in Media and Industry Craft at the Cannes Lions.


Based on a decade of research, over 15,000 pieces of coral and 900 'reef stars' went into the build.

Within a few months of build, Hope Reef was picked up on Google's satellites. It's now been designated
a historic landmass on Google Earth - a first for any brand. Try diving Hope virtually on UnderWater Streetview. 


We created a growing coral visual identity based on the building blocks of Hope Reef, reef stars.

The animated growing font appeared on digital out of home and grew over time - in some cases, hours.
We also made the font sharable via Giphy.    


Three years since it was built, the reef is now making noise.
